Across Africa- Pop Up Africa

African Art and Artizan

East London Spitalfield had it all going on this Bank Holiday! We popped into Pop Up Africa the festival of all things African!

The largest continent took on one of the largest parts of town and brought to life Old Spitalfields with colour, art, fashion and food. No, designer “inspired” items here, you missed out on getting the real deal on the Bank Holiday. Endless designs and materials that truly showed off the African cultures that have inspired/created alot of mainstream fashion retailers and designers.

This was a full experience rather then just going into your high street outlet your online shop. The true to life hustle ,bustle  of an African market with food and music is where it was at. If only temporary, we were transported across the world and the Bank Holiday sun helped us really get into the spirit.

It was nice to watch people from all around the world get measured up for tailor made matching coordinated patterned suits, which is again is another perk of going authentic then a high street off the hanger version.

All in all , Pop Up Africa was all that is Valuemytime.co.uk, local business , with great items and of course that personal customer service from the business owners themselves happy to talk and happy to help.
